  1. The woman who was arrested last month on charge of her nine-year-old child who ingested fentanyl faces a new charge. “Mum Fentanyl” is actually Elizabeth Marie Irvin, 30 years old. Recently, authorities recalled her face while she was on duty for another issue, leading to events that led to her new charge. (KOLO)
  2. Councilor Jenny Brekhus has been accused of refusing Jacobs Entertainment’s request to appear at a public meeting. Garrett Gordon was the lawyer acting on behalf of Jacobs Entertainment. He said Brekhus rejected his request to appear at a neighborhood meeting for residents of his neighborhood. (KRNV My News 4)
  3. The story of Brianna Denison, the victim of the murder of a college student, was broadcast on “Dateline” on the Oxygen Network. For some markets, the episode will repeat on January 19. The story covers Denison’s kidnapping and assault. He also explains his attacker’s story in more detail and explains why he is currently on death row in Nevada. (Reno Gazette Journal)
