The HTML element that defines the title of a webpage is called a title tag. It is visible in your browser’s tab. The title tag can be seen in the tab of this webpage, for example.
Its primary function is to inform visitors and search engine robots about the page, such as what the content is about.

3. Learn the Importance of SubHeadings (H2, HTML3, H4, HTML5, …)).
Headers are the key concepts and supporting ideas for your post. This structure makes your content more readable and organized.
Subheadings such as H2, H3, and H4, are organized in a hierarchical fashion. H2 is the main heading followed by H3,H4, and H5. If you take a look at this post, the H2 tag is the main subheading followed by H3, H4, and H5.
Subheadings rarely have an impact on your SEO. There are however indirect benefits. If a visitor can’t find the information they need in your content because it isn’t well-structured, they will likely leave and search for something else. Google also lowers the rank of pages with a high bounce rate and shorter session duration.
To make your content more SEO-friendly, you can include LSI keywords under your headings.
4. Optimize your Meta Description
Meta description is an HTML element which summarizes and describes the content of your page to help users and search engines find it. It is located just below the post title in Google Search Results. Sometimes, however, it appears as a snippet from the main body.
Although meta descriptions aren’t essential in SEO, they can help to draw visitors and increase click-through rates. You should write compelling descriptions for each page that encourage readers to click on your posts.
A good meta description should include your keyword and address the benefits readers will receive from the post.

5. SEO Content is Important
Content SEO is optimizing content for target keywords to ensure it ranks on page one. Websites with high-quality content have better chances of ranking than websites with low-quality or poor content. Quality content refers to content that answers every question about the targeted keyword and hits the right user intent.
It is important to research keywords before you start writing content. These keywords are also called search terms and they are what people type into search engines to find the content. To satisfy user intent, you should target them when writing a post.
It is important to focus on long-tail keywords with low competition for new websites so you can rank them on page one. Keyword research tools such as Ahref and KWFinder can help you save a lot time. These paid tools can be used to find low-competition keywords in a matter of minutes, which is a significant time saver over traditional methods that take much longer. You can also use the Google keyword planner if you don’t have the budget for such paid tools.
After you have identified your main keyword, you will be able to create a list, known as LSI keywords. These keywords can then be used in your page titles, descriptions and headings along with your primary keyword. Adding LSI keywords to your content makes it more relevant to the topic.
Any keyword research tool can be used to find LSI keywords. You can also search for LSI keywords by entering your keyword into Google. You can take note of the most relevant keywords and include them in the subheadings of your content. In your subheadings, you can include “People also ask questions” as well.

6. 6. Optimize your Images
Images make content easier to understand and more appealing. Consider content without images versus content with multiple images. This makes the content more engaging for readers.
When you download images for your content, make sure to properly rename them with your focus keyword. This is because Google will be able to see the content of your image without you even seeing it. For example, if your image shows a baby playing with toys, the file name should not be DSC47836.jpg, but baby-playing-with-toys.jpg.
JPG is best for large photos. It has good results in terms clarity and colors, with small file sizes. PNG is the best option to keep background transparency. It’s also better for images with small text and pictures.
UX and SEO are dependent on the page’s loading speed. It is easier to index and visit pages if they load faster. Uploading images that are larger than the area of the content will slow down the loading process. To reduce its file size and size, you can upload an image that is 2500×2500 pixels on a content area with 800 pixels width (depending on your theme). To reduce loading time, scaling the image according to the content area is important.
It is a good idea to compress images after scaling before uploading them into your WordPress dashboard. It will make your page load faster and reduce its size. TinyPNG and TinyJPG sites can be used for the same.

7. 7. Start interlinking your posts
Internal links are important in SEO. They link to pages on your website. Linking to pages on your website is a way for Google bots to discover them and index them.
Google bots follow the links on pages they visit (both internal and externe). They will not read the page if they don’t see any links. It is important to link your posts.
Internal links can not only boost your rankings, but they also increase the user session time. This will decrease bounce rates.
Interlinking is done by linking to a post that makes sense. If I write a post on how to start a website, it makes sense to link to another post discussing blogging tools, ways of increasing blog traffic, best web hosting, and other topics.
Your important pages can be ranked higher by adding more internal links. This will increase their rank in the SERPs. To let Google bots know that my “How to start your blog” post is important, I can create many internal links to other posts pointing to it. This will help boost the blog’s ranking.
