Pakistani actor Mahira Khan, who visited the salon after recovering from Covid-19, is now sporting a new look – fringed. Mahira, known for her trademark sense of humor, shared some selfies, revealing her look after a haircut session. In her caption, Mahira said she recently contracted the Omicron variant of the coronavirus and is now negative.
Mahira also shared how her mom reacted to her new hairdo with a hilarious one-liner, “I went for a cut…and first I asked her to dye my hair pink and they all freaked out ( I’m going to do it… I’m going to do it)… and after the cut I came back and said cut me some bangs I came home and my mother left – Ya Allah!
Speaking of the possibility of a ‘midlife crisis’, Mahira added: ‘Is this a covid survivor thing after two times? Midlife crisis? Lord knows… all I know is I was never the one who dyed my hair in school/college… not even a piercing here and there… And that’s me. did good. Just do something on a whim. So yes… I am freshly Omicron negative and incredibly positive for life. PS any tips for maintaining bangs are welcome!”
In 2020, the actor had contracted Covid-19 in December, when she shared the news in a post, writing, “I tested positive for Covid-19. I am self-isolating and also informed everyone who has been in close contact with me in the past few days. It’s been tough but it will be okay soon Inshallah. Please, please wear a mask and follow other SOP’s – for your sake and for the others.

Mahira Khan, a Pakistani star, made her foray into Bollywood with the 2017 film Raees, in which she co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan. Mahira is best known for her role in the Pakistani TV show Humsafar, in which she was paired with Fawad Khan. His filmography also includes 7 Din Mohabbat In, Superstar and Ho Mann Jahaan. On television, she has acted in shows such as Shehr-e-Zaat, Neeyat and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay.
