Ioan Gruffudd’s lover Bianca Wallace has explained that after being diagnosed she changed her outlook on life and started following her heart
Ioan Gruffudd’s lover Bianca Wallace has shared her devastating diagnosis of multiple sclerosis which left her partially blind.
Australian Bianca, 29, who made headlines for dating actor Ioan following his split from wife Alice Evans, took to Instagram to share her diagnosis – which happened at the 25 years old.
The actress explained that the life-changing discovery forced her to change her life, give up her job as an accountant and “follow her heart”.
In the nine-minute video, she says, “I haven’t always had the same outlook on life. I haven’t always sought to follow your heart and live your life to the best of your abilities. in fact accompanies a diagnosis of aggression, multiple sclerosis.
“In October 2018 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of, it was very aggressive in nature, it came hard and fast. I was at work in accounting and I tried to pick up a pen and couldn’t.
“There was an initial shock, I can’t really describe what I felt, I’ve never been able to put it into words, that’s why I haven’t talked about it for the last three years because I don’t quite know what to say.
“It was the hardest situation in life to deal with. It’s not something a 25-year-old would have ever imagined. I then put the pen in my other hand to try and write and I just couldn’t.
“I was sent to the emergency room and from there everything changed. Over the next few weeks I couldn’t walk, the whole right side of my body was completely destroyed. I had to start a journey to which I was not ready. You are never ready for such a diagnosis.
“I’ve always been a bubbly, positive person, but when you’re faced with aggressive MS, something changes. It put a question mark over my head, but now I think that’s the luckiest thing that could have happened to me because I was able to ask the hard and heavy questions in life.
“Will I ever walk again? The neurologist replied, “I don’t know.” At 25, I didn’t know if I was going to walk again. start with me. I was miserable, miserable, I didn’t know if I would walk again. I lived with regret. I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. I still do not know. made me who I am. That’s why I always tell people to follow their hearts because I know how debilitating regret can be.
“I face a lot of drama because of the diagnosis. I go blind in my left eye, I have botox to lift it. My whole right side has nerve damage, it’s my eye shaking. When I’m stressed , I lose So I had to learn to control my emotions.
“I know what it’s like to lie in bed and regret everything and I never want to do that again. Without MS I never would have become an actress, that’s the big question mark that did that. I don’t know how it will progress, I don’t know what will happen.
She ends the video by explaining, “It made me lose all fear. It taught me to appreciate life for what it is. I hope it cleared up some questions you might have about me. So now you know!”
Her candid video comes after her boyfriend’s ex Alice accused Bianca of ‘driving a stake in her heart’ by flaunting their blossoming romance.
Ioan, 48, and soon-to-be-ex-wife Alice, 53, married in 2007 and share two daughters together, but their relationship fell apart dramatically early last year – and their breakup fell apart love affair has been in the headlines ever since their split turned bad and accusations swirled on both sides.
Bianca shared a series of photos on Instagram as she reflected on her past year – with one image showing her holding hands with Ioan during their holiday together in Nice in the south of France.
Pulling out the image and sharing it via her own Twitter feed, Alice accused Bianca of lacking empathy for sharing the beloved snap.
She tweeted: “YEAH. This caused me a lot of stress. I am so happy for them. It’s like a long vacation.
“It’s not that they don’t deserve it – I heard only B is on holiday so why should she change.
“That’s the hurt – the real pain this photo is causing me.”
Alice’s emotional outburst caught the attention of sympathetic fans and followers who offered their support – but that only prompted the British-American star to strike again.
She tweeted: “Thank you and the recent ‘shadow photo’ in Nice. She wants to put a stake in my heart. I’ve never seen such a lack of empathy.
“Too bad, because we could all have been friends if they had played well. I have no problem with forgiveness. But it’s wrong.
Alice has since left Twitter after writing the comments about Bianca.
