Kanye West says ‘my kids won’t be on TikTok without my permission’… after eldest daughter North opens account with ex-wife Kim Kardashian
Kanye West has said he doesn’t want any of his four children to have TikTok accounts without his permission.
The 44-year-old rapper made the comment during an interview with Jason Lee for an episode of Hollywood Unlocked, while noting that he’s taking a more active role in his child’s life.
West’s eldest daughter, North, eight, has been the center of attention for maintaining a TikTok account for the past few months.

West made his opinion on TikTok clear during an alleged incident at Kardashian’s home on Monday, where he asked his “two cousins” to talk about Kardashian’s “safety” on his behalf.
He recalled, “I said, ‘I need you to go and say these two things: Safety won’t be between me and my kids, and my kids won’t be on TikTok without my permission.
Rapper Stronger went on to remark that while he was used to his personal life becoming the center of attention, he was particularly sensitive to the public’s perception of his children.

‘They can go on SNL and make jokes, they can make jokes in the media, they can plant stories, about who I’m dating and all the things I want to do…I can tell you right now, don’t don’t play with my children, he said.
“It’s all gonna be legal, it’s all gonna be legal, baby. You’re not gonna gaslight me thinking it’s gonna be quiet like this,’ he said.
Kanye and Kim share four children together who they are currently co-parenting; North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two.

West concluded by expressing that he understands the plight of people who face less than ideal situations regarding the custody of their children.
“It’s for anyone who’s been in a situation like this who didn’t have a voice…I have the house right next to my kids,” he said.
North and Kim, 41, previously created a joint TikTok account called @kimandnorth last November.

The account is mostly filled with videos of Kim and North spending quality time with each other and loved ones at their residence.
