Maxene Magalona recounted the first time she wore her Vera Wang wedding dress, while thanking her husband Rob Mananquil’s mother for making one of her dreams come true.

Magalona showed fans a return photo of her wedding dress fit, which she described as a “happy” moment on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan.11.

“I remember being so elated and happy to see myself wearing something so delicately beautiful. I always dreamed of wearing [Vera Wang] on my wedding day and it was my sweet stepmom [Millet Mananquil] who made this dream come true, ”she said.

The actress then expressed her gratitude to her stepmother, pointing out how much she felt loved and accepted by her.

“I just want to offer her my sincere gratitude for being the kind, generous and selfless soul that she has always been to the lucky people in her life,” she added. “I am so blessed to have met her and felt her love and acceptance from the start.”

Meanwhile, Magalona also showed fans snaps from her bridal shower, highlighting how she felt an “overwhelming emotion” that she needed to share, as reported in a separate post, also yesterday. The actress then thanked her mother Pia Magalona for organizing the said party.

“I see each of you and thank you for the love you shared with me. I am truly grateful and honored,” she said.

Magalona recently dined with her in-laws to celebrate New Years Eve, amid speculation over the breakup surrounding her marriage to Mananquil. While there is still no confirmation of the two, at the time of writing, Magalona has spoken of having a “sad soul” when embarking on a recent solo trip to Boracay. JB
