Not Tin Hag or Pochettino.. Rangnick chooses a new name for Manchester United!

News continues on the name of Manchester United’s new manager, the latest of which has been published on a surprising name chosen by Ralph Rangnick to take up his post next season.

Rangnick is expected to become a consultant at Manchester United as soon as the current season is over, so his advice has value and weight for England management.

In recent months, Eric Ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino have been named to the task, but it seems Rangnick’s choice came from outside that inner circle.

What is Rangnick’s choice to coach Manchester United?

Corriere dello Sport have reported that Rangnick is keen to sign current Inter manager Simone Inzaghi to Manchester United.

The way Inzaghi worked and how he played with Lazio and then Inter attracts the German a lot to him and makes him believe that he is the perfect choice to catch up with the Red Devils what they have been missing.

Meanwhile, the Italian newspaper reports that Inzaghi might be really interested in the job, which means he’s learning English.

The Nerazzurri coach dreams of coaching outside the Italian league, although his contract with Inter is still valid until the summer of 2023.

Are Manchester United the only ones interested in Inzagi?

Rangnick’s task will not be easy to bring Inzaghi to Old Trafford, not only because he has a contract with Inter, but also for other clubs interested in him.

The Italian newspaper reported that Atletico Madrid have put Inzaghi at the top of the list of candidates to succeed Diego Simeone in the upcoming period.

Al Rokhi Blancos could start the change phase by the end of this season after the domestic disappointment which could also increase with the expected European failure.

How has Inzaghi’s coaching career been?

Inzaghi took over as Lazio manager in 2016 after Marcelo Bielsa quit the capital’s manager, hours after taking charge.

With Lazio, he won the 2019 Italian Cup, and also won the Italian Super Cup, and led his team to return to the European Champions League after a long absence.

Inzaghi has moved on to coach Inter this season, taking over from Antonio Conte, and he leads the Italian league with one point and one game less than runners-up Milan.

Inter have only lost with Inzaghi in the last 20 matches against Real Madrid in the Champions League once, and they capped their efforts by winning the Super Cup at the hands of Juventus a few days ago.

Now Inzaghi is preparing for a tough Nerazzurri-led test against Liverpool in the final prize.
