“It’s happening in 4 months!
Vice president Leni Robredo had this reaction after receiving an invitation to her youngest daughter’s graduation, Jillian, at New York University.
“I just got home from a full day and it happened right after I got out of the shower. Save the date for Jillian’s college graduation. It’s happening in four months! said Robredo.
Jillian is the last of her children to graduate from college.
She flew to the United States to pursue a biomolecular science degree at NYU in 2018.
The eldest child Robredo, Time, completed his Masters of Public Administration studies as an Edward S. Mason Fellow at the prestigious Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Governance in May 2018.
Tricia, on the other hand, graduated MD-MBA from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health in 2020.
In Leni’s post on Jillian’s graduation, she uploaded photos of the invitation letter from NYU.
“The entire university community joins you in saluting the 2022 class and its achievements”, we can read in the invitation.
He also said the launch drills will take place at Yankee Stadium on May 18, 2022 at 11 a.m.
The comments section was filled with congratulatory messages to Jillian and the Robredo family.
Some social media users were also hoping that the four of them could safely attend the event.
“My fingers are crossed for you to attend the graduation drills,” one Facebook user said.
In October 2021, Jillian and Kakie Pangilinan, daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Senator Kiko Pangilinan, made the buzz online for their interesting interaction on Twitter amid the filing of the nomination papers around this time.
Their parents are running in tandem for the presidency and vice-presidency of the 2022 national elections.
At the time, Kakie’s father had not yet filed his COC for the post of vice president.
The rising singer-songwriter then shared screenshots of her conversation with Jillian, who was also privy to the COC case’s development.
Kakie was also in New York studying at university this time.
