The former Gogglebox star went through three years of romance with police officer Scott. But things weren’t easy for the couple as they briefly separated before reaffirming their romance.
Scarlett Moffatt had given up on love before falling for her current boyfriend, police officer Scott Dobinson, whom she started dating in 2019.
The 31-year-old reality star had known the 36-year-old copper ‘for years’ before they embarked on their romance – although their three-year romance was far from straightforward.
Scarlett has had many ups and downs related to her romantic life over the years – with flings with other reality TV stars causing drama on TV, and hard and fast romances crashing and burn with a thousand fires.
But after years of going through the heart wringer, Scarlett was ready to give up on finding a successful romance altogether – before reconnecting with Scott.

Speaking on her Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe podcast, the former Gogglebox star said: “Honestly it sounds really sad but I never thought I would find true love.
“I don’t know if it’s because I just met people who were holes, or what it was, or if I gave off a certain energy. But I was just like, ‘No, I don’t think love is for me.
She continued, “I thought I just had to find love with my family and friends because I wasn’t going to get it romantically.
“But when I met Scott, everything changed. He’s such a nice person.
Scarlett endured a torrid love life before her romance with Scott.
In 2013, when Scarlett was desperate to become a reality TV star, her attempt to woo 30-year-old Welshman Richard Cull and Irishman Jeremy McConnell was filmed as part of MTV’s short-lived series Beauty School Cop Ours – with all the ups, downs and tears caught on camera.
She then joined Gogglebox which propelled her to stardom – and thus put her romantic life in the spotlight.
She endured an on-and-off romance with hairstylist Luke Crodden from 2016 to 2017 – then quickly moved on to fitness model Lee Wilkinson at the end of that year.
The couple split in 2018, however, with Scarlett calling the muscular hunk a “cheating pathological liar.”
After her split from Lee, Scarlett fans became convinced she was having an affair with Ant McParlin when they noticed unusual things like a photo of Ant appearing in a frame next to her bed.
But the suggestion of a romance between the two – who worked together on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway was quickly shut down by reps, while Scarlett was fired from the show soon after.
The reality star then confirmed that she started dating Scott in early 2019 – breaking up a few months later, only to reconcile later, then split again in 2021 before reconciling again.
Scarlett gushed about her love for Scott as they celebrated their third anniversary last week.
She wrote online, “3 years officially together my love @scottdobby. I had honestly thought about giving up on finding a nice guy.
“I felt like I had been lucky enough in my life and so love wasn’t going to be part of my story. I almost felt like I didn’t deserve it. Until this let me meet you and let everything fall into place.”
