Sharon Stone was chosen as a recurring actor in season two of The Flight Attendant.
The 63-year-old actress and former model will play Lisa Bowden, the mother of Kaley Cuoco’s character, Cassie.
The first season of the hit HBO Max show featured a heartbreaking relationship between Cassie and her late father.

According to Deadline, Lisa is estranged from Cassie and wants to stay away from her daughter due to her alcoholism.
The Flight Attendant is filming the new season in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik. Some of the returning cast members are Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, and Rosie Perez.
In season two, Cassie lives in Los Angeles and stays sober while doing side work for the CIA. But when she’s abroad, she sees a murder that defeats her.
The first season received nine Emmy nominations, including an Outstanding Comedy Series and a lead actress for Kaley, who plays Cassie.
Stone’s television work includes Ratched, Mosaic, The New Pope, and The Practice.

Sharon was born and raised in Meadville, a small town in Pennsylvania. In 1980, she made her acting debut in Woody Allen’s Stardust Memories.
Her kickoff to fame was her role as Lori Quaid in Paul Verhoeven’s Total Recall in 1990.
The 1992 film Basic Instinct made her a household name.
And in 1995, Sharon’s role in The Casino earned her an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe victory.

The Casino star married her first husband, writer and producer Michael Greenburg, in 1984, but ended up divorcing three years later. Sharon married journalist Phil Bronstein in 1998 before divorcing in 2004.
The couple tried to have children naturally, but the mother of three had two miscarriages, five months after each trimester. From the second pregnancy, Sharon decided to adopt.
Sharon is raising her three sons, Roan, 21, Quinn, 15, and Laird, 16, as a single mother.
