Sunrise meteorologist Sam Mac is back at work on Channel Seven’s breakfast after a few weeks off.

And on Tuesday, the cheeky star was treated to a performance by a group of bikini dancers while presenting her first weather segment of the year on location at the resort town of Cali Beach on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The four women jumped off the giant watermelon slice and showed off their energetic dance moves while wearing hot pink bikinis with matching sleeves and fruity headdresses.

At one point, Sam even joined the ladies as a “backup dancer” by wearing a giant fancy head moving side by side by the pool.

After the dance he admitted, “When they said they would give us a watermelon show on the Gold Coast, I was a little nervous.”

“But it was friendly with PG, and it was wonderful,” he said, applauding the ladies.

“This is how I start most days of the week… I’ve been back at work for three and a half hours, I’ve had three weeks off and that’s my vibe,” he said. after taking a sip.

“I’m ready to relax,” boasted the TV presenter.

Sam is a generic contestant who will appear in the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars: All Stars alongside singer Deni Hines, 51, and former Home and Away star Cameron Daddo, 56.

Actress Bridie Carter, 50, who won in 2007, Courtney Act, 39, which placed second in 2019, and former AFL players David Rodan, 38, and Anthony Koutoufides, 48 Years, who played in the 2014 and 2006 respectively.

Other celebrities looking to clinch victory include former Bachelorette Angie Kent, 31, model Kris Smith, 43, and former Neighbors star Olympia Valance, 28.

The returning jury, including Todd McKenney, Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson, seem more than satisfied with the talent on offer.
