Woman Who Stopped Growing At 16 Shares Dating Problems

An American who is the size of an eight-year-old has revealed the problems she faces with dating – and the “flows” she unfortunately attracts.

A woman who says she is “stuck” in the body of a child has revealed the extreme measures she has to take during her dates.

Shauna Rae is only 1.16m tall, making her the average height of an eight-year-old. But the American woman is actually 22 and has documented the challenges her appearance brings her on the upcoming TV show. I am Shauna Rae.

In an interview with PeopleShauna said she needs to take extra care when it comes to dating.

“I have to have in-person conversations before I even think about going on a date. I have to know how this person reacts in public places, ”she said.

“I have to know if they will be able to handle all the problems I have because I can’t date someone unless they can take care of it all. And it’s a lot to ask someone to take on.

Despite her best efforts to meet someone, Shauna said her “romantic life sucks”.

“I think I dated seven people. I attract creeps, idiots – you know the typical ‘bad boy image’ situation – and idiots, ”she said.

A trailer for the series showed Shauna meeting a man on a blind date, with the man not knowing at first if he was the victim of a prank when she showed up.

At just six months old, Shauna was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and underwent chemotherapy.

“My pituitary gland has almost gone dormant from the chemotherapy,” Shauna explains in the trailer.

“The doctor told me I was done growing up. My bones have fused together and my height is three feet 10 inches (1.16 m).

Shauna said People she discovered that she had stopped growing at the age of 16, describing the revelation as “like a hammer smashing into glass”.

“It was a very difficult time,” she said.

“It was probably the lowest time of my life, because I always imagined I would be tall.”

But after spending time “getting better,” Shauna has come to terms with her height and is hoping viewers can learn from her upbeat outlook on life.

“Being positive is only the best advice I can give because at the end of the day the only person in control of how you feel is yourself,” she said.
